I was interested by the storytelling technique when you have a student tell a story or write a story depending on age. As a school counselor, I think it could even help to have stuffed animals or action figures in your office for a child to possible use as props to aid in telling their story. These can also be used as comfort to students coming into your office who may be upset or sad or need something comforting to hug.
